    Live streaming Video

    It is my understanding that Visix does not have the ability to stream live video through the content server. Does anyone know any different? I am aware that we are able connect a video source to channel players that have the video card and overlay a video feed/window. If anybody has any information, tips or tricks that may be helpful please respond. Thanks.

    Hi Jim,

     If it is a streaming video (with a streaming URL that is in a video compatible format for AxisTV) it can be brought in by purchasing the Video Streaming Option. We currently do have clients that are bringing in 'live' streaming webcasts when they have them. --Thanks.

    How can you tell if you have the streaming option?

    You have to use the License Manager in your Content Server and check whether or not the Stream license is listed.
